Mission/Objective:
New Age Personal Care Association caregivers will provide private
residential care in the Calgary community for seniors and disabled.
We strive to work closely with all families, friends and professional
health care individuals involved."
New Age Personal Care members wish to preserve the option for seniors
and all other disabled individuals, their families and friends their
right to choose to live in a Private Care Home should the need arise.
These missions/objectives come from following the “Spirit”
within the Protection for Persons in Care Act.
What is the Protection for Persons in Care Act?
The Protection for Persons in Care Act is legislation that promotes
the safety of adults in care, by requiring you to report incidents
where you have reasonable and probable grounds to suspect that there
is, or has been, abuse against a client.
The Act came into effect in January 1998.
